"The Roofie Foundation provides the services to actively campaign for the recognition of drug rape as a major crime with increased sentencing, to change the mind of the CPS in their treatment of drug rape victims and their need for statements from the witnesses themselves, the continued provision of a 24-hour help line to assist victims of drug related sexual abuse and to campaign for a major research into the drugs used and their effects - especially the memory loss aspects and flashback experience."

"The Drink Detective is a new test to detect the adulteration of drinks with drugs, used for the purpose of sexual assault ("date rape"), robbery or other criminal activity. The test detects the presence of the three most commonly used drugs: benzodiazepines, including flunitrazepam and diazepam (Rohypnol® and Valium®), gamma hydoxybutyrate (GHB), and ketamine. A combination of technologies gives the most sensitive test currently available to these three classes of drugs when placed in drinks."
